After using the thermos for coffee almost every day for about two weeks, the screw-in-top completely fell apart. I took care of the thermos and was not hard on it, so there's no reason it should have fallen apart other than that it's simply not well made.The rest of the set simply seems impractical. It comes with a "creamer/sugar" container - so you have to choose which you want. If you like cream and sugar you're out of luck. The coffee cups are very small and they don't have lids - I would think that lids would make sense in a picnic kit since it's made to take with you. The thermos itself doesn't hold much (which you can gather from the product info, but just in case you didn't catch it yourself . . .). Also doesn't seem to be the best design for coffee - especially the way us Americans drink our coffee :-D.It's a cute idea, but not well executed. You can surely find a better picnic coffee/tea set elsewhere.UPDATE 2/4/11:I emailed the company about the lid of the thermos falling apart and they promptly sent me a replacement. I was so impressed with their customer service that I anticipated finding the replacement thermos to be flawless, and subsequently coming on here to give an updated, favorable review. However, after just ONE use, the same thing happened to the screw-in-top of the new thermos!! I have been wracking my brain to try to think of something I may have done that would have caused this to happen to both thermoses, but I did not do anything with them other than fill them with coffee, put on the lid, and pour coffee out of them periodically throughout the day. Neither of them was ever dropped, manhandled, or even shaken vigorously.

We got this to take on dog walks in the park to keep coffee or cider hot on cold days. It does well at keeping things hot, but has a cheep feel to it. The stainless steel cream or sugar container, after one use, had a ring on the inside lip that the stainless is pealing off and exposing the metal underneath. The "stainless steel over plastic" top of the thermos slips when you screw it onto the thermos. Everything is very light, light is good, but aluminum with a thin stainless steel coating, is not what I expected for the price.
