This is flimsy and useless. Mine came with my Toddy maker, and I never use it because it can't support the weight of the maker once you put the coffee in it.

It feels cheap and bends under the weight of the full Toddy Maker.It's less than useless.

I have to disagree with the 2 writers that think this product is worthless. I've used mine for at least 20 years and have yet to have it fail. I'll agree that the handle deforms downward when lifting a full beaker (it weighs in at a little over 7.25 lbs.). But it isn't difficult to lift, and it beats not having something to lift with while you pull the drain plug. Hopefully, having said this, the company hasn't cheapened the thing, as many mfgr's are fond of doing to save bucks. I gave my original to my sis-n-law because she had none, and we both love the cold water brewing process. She really likes the handle. Now I'm getting another to replace it. I'll know if it's been cheapened. If so, the lil' sucker will get returned.
